Cutting through the noise

During my stay, I appreciated the friendly front desk gentleman in the mornings, who made check-in pleasant. The location is convenient, and I was lucky to have a room beside the parking area for easy luggage transport. However, I experienced some cleanliness issues that could use attention.

The room was clean, and I appreciated having a quiet space to unwind. The bed was comfortable, which is a big plus after a long drive. I also liked that my luggage was easy to transport since my room was close to the entrance.

The bed was super comfy, but the checkout process was chaotic and frustrating.

Look out for the rear entrance, which might be easier for load-in and parking than the front.

Unpleasant cologne smell throughout the outdated room.

My recent stay at Red Roof was pleasant, with noticeable improvements since prior reviews. The room was clean, featuring newer towels and bedspreads, and the overall organization of the hotel was much better. The wifi connection performed well, which was essential as I was traveling for business. For those just passing through, this hotel offers a good balance of safety, cleanliness, and affordability.

Some areas still need further upgrades.

We had a wonderful stay with my son's family. The location is conveniently close to attractions like the Kentucky Horse Park. The staff were very welcoming and made check-in a breeze. The kids especially loved the clean pool area for some fun.

My wife says that breakfast options for families could be improved.

Navigating to the hotel was a challenge. GPS led me to a maze of backstreets with no clear signage outside. The room smelled overwhelmingly like cheap cologne, and the slightly battered decor hinted at the property’s age. Ants had invaded the bathroom, coming from a loose base tile, and the overall bathroom condition screamed for a remodel. No in-room USB ports for charging devices made things inconvenient. Checkout was a chaotic affair with inefficiency visible. it felt like a dance of confusion.

My stay was quite enjoyable! The bed was super comfy, and I loved the coffee in the morning. However, the wifi was spotty. I'd definitely stay again for the value.

I stayed in the Deluxe King Room. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable, seriously one of those beds where you just sink in! There was also a microwave and a small fridge, which was a nice touch. Just a heads up, the decor felt a bit dated and there were minor maintenance issues like the towel rod being loose.
